Rainy Days.

I have posted some weather pictures but I am not stopping, not after the glorious weekend and Monday evening we've had. It rained for hours this evening, at least three without slowing or stopping. Just a true blue, east coast-style rainstorm. This weekend was no different. Both Friday and Saturday nights saw torrential thunderstorms, and I captured Friday's in a few amateur, yet still pleasing (to me, dried out little desert rat that I am) photos. But this one is by far my favorite, and so I won't trouble you with any others. But to me, this lovely photo, out of focus but still straight forward, sums up why the weekend storms were so wonderful: they were just out and out rainstorms, lasting far longer than monsoon season's usual flashy bursts of 20 minute storms.
